QuickBooks launches Accountant-Approved Apps

If there is one word business owners typically use to describe their accountant, it’s “trustworthy.” Also see “reliable,” “helpful,” and “indispensable.” An accountant’s advice is generally based on hard-won wisdom and experience, both of which are worth their weight in gold.

Now, Intuit QuickBooks is working with an experienced team of accountants to help provide top-tier app recommendations for small business owners.

Broken out by industry, each hand-picked app is rigorously tested by accountants to verify it maps data in and out of QuickBooks accurately for that industry. The result? A compilation of resource apps intended to help save time and make business owners more efficient. Additional terms, conditions, and fees may still apply.

QuickBooks’ collection of accountant approved apps is new and quickly expanding. Accountant-Approved Apps will be distinguished by a new badge and prominent placement. First to launch are apps for the construction industry and professional services.

How Accountant-Approved Apps are selected

A business’ financial tools should be rock solid. That’s why each Accountant-Approved App is so thoroughly vetted. And once it’s established as an app on the marketplace, it will be reviewed periodically by a team of accountants to confirm that standard is maintained.

Qualities the accountant team has considered include the following:
