Accountant top feature priority voting
Twice a year, the entire Intuit engineering organization pauses their work to focus on issues they’re passionate about solving. Last month, we conducted a survey with a large group of accountants to identify and vote on a few issues that we’d like our product teams to focus on.
Each engineering team is assessing the best way to implement and release each feature. You’ll see some of these in the next few months. We’ll provide updates in future issues of Your Feedback in Action.
Here’s a sneak peek of some of the features we’re looking at:
QuickBooks Online Accountant
- Add ability to permanently remove a client from the Client List (voted number one most important issue to resolve).
- Document sharing:
- Add in-product notifications about document activity, including deep links and deep links included in email notifications.
- Ability to view documents from within Client Books.
QuickBooks Online
- Chart of Accounts:
- Add ability to move to the previous page and to the next page, at the top of the Chart of Accounts.
- Add ability to create and save templates.
- Add ability to delete any unused Chart of Accounts.
- Invoices:
- Add ability to access invoices older than two years from View Payment History, under the Billing and Subscriptions menu.
- Banking
- Turn off auto-add bank rules in bulk under batch actions.
QuickBooks Payroll
- Add a new Payroll Item List report where the rows are per Employee and the columns include Payroll Item Name, Pay Type, Sub Type, and Rate.
- Add warning message on the Run Payroll screen when one of the user’s mapped classes is inactive.
Every investment and innovation we make across the QuickBooks platform is for one reason only—to power your success and help you and your clients grow.
We’re grateful for your partnership and hope you’ll continue to share your thoughts with us. Please leave feedback or comment for us here as we continue to improve. Thank you.
